Apple Trees
- We made pictures of apple trees using the Tux Paint program during Technology. We were assigned a season - Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall. Ask your student what season their apple tree represents. (Winter trees are bare, Spring trees have blossoms, Summer trees have leaves and little apples and Fall trees have leaves and ripe red apples.)

Living vs Nonliving slideshow
- Our class made a slideshow of living and nonliving things during our technology time. Mrs. Dwyer taught us how to use tux paint to draw and stamp. We then captured our image and copied it to a slide show. Ask your child to explain why they put their stamps in the living or nonliving side our their t-chart. Things are considered living if they were once living. Living things change, grow and reproduce. Living things also need food, water, air and space to survive.
