A message from our Principal, Mrs. Hennelly…….

With this edition, we begin our new schedule for the With this edition, we begin our new schedule for the Wildcat Chat. Funding continues to be a concern for school districts across the state. One way that our district has addressed this issue was to reduce the hours of each of our schools’ front office staff (which helped to make less of a reduction to educational programs). Our secretaries work very hard for our staff, students, and parents. One way that I can help with their overwhelming workload, is to modify our scheduled for sending out our newsletter. The Wildcat chat will now be sent out twice a month. Look for the Chat on the first and third Fridays of each month. Remember that we are sending out the Wildcat Chat electronically now….look for an e-mail sending you the link. You can view the Chat in many different languages using the translator provided on the link. We will also continue to have a few paper copies in the office if you would like to pick one up. Calendars, events, and schedules will continue to be listed on our website, please visit it if you need updated information between Chats.

I’m looking forward to visiting with you at our Celebrate the Seasons event next Friday, December 9^th. It will be a great opportunity to socialize with our CFT community and learn about the different cultures represented in our school!

SAVE DECEMBER 9^TH…..

For the first annual Celebrate the Season event at CFT. This is a FREE family event sponsored by the PSO offering fun holiday games and activities celebrating Christmas as well as other cultural traditions. We’ll also have pictures with Santa, Sweet Treats bake sale and a craft fair. Parent volunteers are needed to help with several activities. DON’T FORGET -- The computer lab is available after school!

The computer lab is open to students and parents Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:30-3:30 to work on projects, check e-mail, etc. Just drop by to use the computers, provided on a first come first serve basis.

There was no weekly PAW drawing November 25 since there was no school. The next drawings will be December 2 and December 9! Keep turning those PAWS at at the office!

WHAT?? An extra recess??? The PAWS tank is full...which means students have earned an all school extra recess! They will be next week, as follows:

- K-2 will be on Tuesday, 12/6 from 2:00-2:15 and 3-5 will be on Thursday, 12/8 from 2:00-2:15.

WAY TO GO, WILDCATS!!! Let’s start filling up the tank to earn another extra recess!
