A message from our Principal, Mrs. Hennelly…….
I want to thank everyone for helping to keep our students
safe by supporting our after-school pick-up program. Our staff has made
several positive comments over the last few weeks that when students follow the
procedure, and stay with their class until they reach their drop off point (the
gym for walkers, bus, or the flagpole for pick up), it helps them to keep track
of their students and safely send them on their way home. We are all very
thankful and appreciate your efforts to help in this area.
In keeping with the theme of safety, I would like to remind you of two other
safety procedures we have in place at C.F.T. Please remember when coming
into the school EVERYONE must stop by the office, sign in, and put on a
visitor's badge. ALL adults need to be wearing a badge when volunteering,
visiting, helping with an after school program, or being our building for any
reason. Again, thank you so much for your help.
Also, please remember that our front parking lot is closed to all traffic from
7:45 to 8:20 and again from 2:15 to 2:45 to allow for our busses to drop off
and pick up students safely. Please use the side parking lot during those
times.
Next week there will be no school for our students. Our staff will be
spending time attending Professional Development sessions during the first part
of the week. It's a time to refine our skills and become even better
teachers for our students. The school will be closed during the end of
the week for Thanksgiving. I wish you all a Happy Holiday!
Wanda Hennelly
