A message from our Principal, Mrs. Hennelly…….
Our PSO is working hard to provide a wide variety of activities for our families and students throughout the school year. Their goal is to build a sense of unity within our community by bringing our families together, and to support the students of CFT. They are offering a wide range of activities, from free family nights to fundraisers, hoping that one or more might appeal to your family. Please select the activities or events that your family is most excited about, but do not feel obligated to participate in every event or fundraiser that they are sponsoring. They are providing many opportunities iin order to reach a variety of tastes and interests.
One event to consider attending is Art in the Burbs happening this weekend at Alberta Rider School. This event is sponsored by The Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools, and the proceeds benefit all of the schools in our district, including CFT. See their website for more details – www.foundationforsmartkids.org.

Reminder – For the safety of all of our kiddos we need notes, please!
If your student has a “change of routine” regarding afternoon transportation please send a signed note to the office prior to class starting. The note is logged and sent with the students to their teacher.
If your student is going home on the bus with another student both parents need to send a note. The note is logged and then given to the student to give to the bus driver.
If you have a middle schooler who rides the elementary bus on their Wed. Late Arrival: The bus drivers have asked we remind you they need a note from the parent giving permission for them to ride that bus to the elementary school.
Thank you for remembering that not only are we short-staffed in the office at this time, but the office staff hours are reduced this year. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
