A message from our Principal, Mrs. Hennelly…….
Thank you for the GREAT turn out at Back To School Night. It was wonderful to see our CFT families come together to support our school!
Please note that this is the final reminder to check for lost and found items. We store them in Café Charles. If you are missing any items from this year or last, please have your child check the pile. We will be laundering what is left and donating it to the Clothes Closet next Friday, September 30th.
Mark your calendars for October 8th for the second annual Free Health Care Clinic to be held at Tigard High School. This is a one day clinic to serve your Medical, Dental, and Vision needs. Please call 503-603-1585 for more information.
I would like to extend a huge Thank You to all of our CFT Volunteers. This goes out to everyone….from our PSO, Classroom Volunteers, Library/Recess Volunteers, to all of those that help with projects and donate hours of their time to make this the best school ever. We are so lucky to have the support of so many great adults!
I would like to give a special thanks to Adam Pape, a CFT graduate, for his outstanding work painting the colorful map of the United States on our playground, and repainting the lines for the other recess games. Our students are benefitting from his hard work and we really appreciate his dedication.
Wanda Hennelly

Do we have your correct address and telephone contact? We need to be certain we have everyone’s current address and telephone contact information for all students’ families. The Post Office does not forward school mail. Just give us a call with the right information. Email address changes appreciated!

Here’s a note from our District Technology Department:
Beginning this school year, TTSD is allowing students in grades 3-12 to use Google Apps for Education for classroom work. Google Apps for Education is free, flexible, highly secure and provides a lot of efficiencies to the school(s) and classrooms. In order for students to use Google Apps for Education, we need parent permission. By completing the Google App permission form online, you are sending your permission directly to TTSD staff. Questions like grade and birthdates are received ONLY by TTSD staff and will be used to match your child’s name with a student in our record keeping system. This information is not being sent to Google, we are merely using the flexible, secure Google “form” app to efficiently collect this information for the school & district. Google provides teachers a framework for embedding technology standards within the core subject areas. By filling out Google App permission form, your child will be able to participate in classroom activities that teach the following skills:
· communication and collaboration
· demonstrate creativity and innovation
· use technology effectively and productively
We will be collecting Google parent permission throughout the school year. Students can log into Google accounts to show their parents throughout the month of September, as a demonstration period.
