Dear Durham Friends,

 

Our year is off to a terrific beginning.  Our enrollment is up to 557 and we added our 23rd classroom this year!  We have already had a highly successful Jog-a-thon that managed to raise more money than last year even in these tough economic times.  Teachers are working hard to incorporate new standards in math and writing, students are working hard to learn and get along every day, and the result is a school year that looks like it will be the best ever!
