Welcome To Fowler's PSO

Dear Fowler Middle School Parents –

As parents and guardians of Fowler Middle School students, you are all members of the Fowler PSO (Parent Support Organization). The PSO’s mission is to enrich the education as well as the middle school experience of all Fowler students.

Due to your generosity in supporting previous PSO fundraisers, we were able to provide funds or assist in funding various items such as:

  • Updated sound system in the Commons area
  • The lighting system
  • Multiple band instruments
  • A new ceramics kiln
  • Calculators
  • Yearbook cameras
  • Shop tools
  • Field trips for all grades and regions
  • Math t-shirts
  • Poetry books

Sometimes parents believe the middle school years are the time to step back.  Actually, these are the years when it is most important to be involved in your child’s school experience.  Of course, the nature of involvement is much different than in elementary school. 

We invite you to join us in working to make a difference in your student’s middle school experience!

One way to help is to volunteer.  Please take a look at our volunteer request form by clicking on the link to the right.  We’re sure you’ll find opportunities that fit your interests and availability.   We still need a chairperson for Box Tops.

Another way to help is to support our fundraisers.  The two major Fowler PSO fundraisers are the Magazine Sale and the Falcon Dash. The Falcon Dash is an energetic and enthusiastic "fun run" for our kids to help raise money for future field trips, 8th grade celebration, musical instruments, elective program needs and ELL just to name a few.

Along with the two major fundraisers this year, we have also focused on "Dining Nights Out". We have organized at least one restaurant every month that is willing to donate a portion of their proceeds back to Fowler. We realize you may not be able to attend all these restaurant nights, but it has proven to be an equitable investment. Every dollar counts!!

We also encourage you to contact any PSO board member if you have ideas, questions, or concerns.  Better yet, attend the monthly PSO meetings.  Our meetings are generally held the second Tuesday of each month at 9:00am in the Teacher's Lounge. 

We are now on Facebook!  Type in "Fowler PSO" in the search box, "like" our page, and you will be kept up to date with fund-raising information, meeting schedules, and important reminders.

SCRIP -Buy Gift Cards to Support Fowler

Target Take Charge of Education -If you have a Target RED® (Target Credit Card® ,Target Debit® or Target® Visa® Credit Card), click on the link to designate Fowler to benefit from their school support program. You receive 5% off your REDcard® purchases and Target donates 1% of the amount of your REDcard® purchases to Fowler.

Safeway eScrip -If you have a Safeway Club Card, click on the link to make sure your card is affiliated with Fowler. On monthly qualifying purchases up to $300, our school will receive 1%. The amount jumps to 2% on purchases of $300-$500, 3% on purchases of $500-$600, and 4% on purchases above $600. 

BoxTops & eScrip -Collect BoxTops throughout the year. Each one is worth $.10. Also, register your Safeway card to receive BONUS eBox Tops
