Social Studies



We have been studying Native Americans and will continue the unit this next week.  The students created a name for themselves, listened to various legends, and learned about tepees.  They received a "counting rope" to tie a knot everytime they told a story.  This next week they will write their own stories using symbols and make an "owner's stick!"  They will also choose a tribe to study and hear more Native American stories.
