General Class Information:

Birthdays - We look forward to celebrating this special day with your child.  You may bring in treats for your child to share with his/her classmates.  Please make sure that they are store bought treats.  It would be helpful if you let us know ahead so we can put it in the day’s schedule.

Medication - All medications must be taken to the main office with a written note from home.  All medications must be in the original container.  Please call the office if your child is going to be absent (431-4600).

Transportation - Please write a note if your child is going home a different way. 

Homework - We encourage parents to drill math facts with their children on a regular basis for speed and accuracy, and also to have students review and practice their spelling words for each week’s spelling test.  In addition, our Reading program requires that your child read for 20 minutes at least 4 times per week and daily return a signed Read and Respond form for them to show to their Reading teacher.  In additional homework assigned will always be due the next day.
