Dear Parents,
On Thursday, we celebrated ‘Day 100’ with crowns and a parade around the classroom. We have been working hard. We might squeeze in a little celebration.
A reminder that since there is only one day for conferences, I will not be meeting with most of you. I will be emailing some and doing phone conferences with others. If you have a concern, please feel free to email or call me.
We had a special treat on Monday. With testing over and the computer lab open, Mrs. Bird, the librarian, took the ½ day kinders to the computer lab. She said they did a great job listening and following directions. For the rest of the year, one week we will go to the library, the next week we will go to the computer lab.

The students will be exchanging valentine cards during our Valentine party next month. If your child wishes to participate, they should bring a card for each student in their class. There are 26 students in the A.M. class and 28 students in the P.M. class.
Your child should sign the card they are giving with their name. They don’t need to put the names of the receiving students on the card. That way the cards can be quickly passed out on the tables, without trying to ‘read’ the names of whom they belong to. I hope this makes sense.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE CARDS UNTIL THE 12TH. I DO NOT HAVE STORAGE SPACE.
