Basic Needs Items
With the generous support of community partners and individuals, we are able to offer some basic needs items on an as-available basis.
Bread
Available 10:30am-2pm most Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please note that the center is closed from 12pm-1pm for lunch.
Fred Meyer in Tualatin donates day-old bread on most Thursdays. A volunteer picks it up so that it can be distributed at the resource center. It is usually available between 10am-11am. By 2pm, any leftover items are taken to a local elementary school to send home with children in need.
Clothing
The center maintains a small clothing closet for adults and children ages 0-5, available during open hours.
*Please note: This is not the Caring Closet. Families who wish to set up appointments for the Caring Closet for their children enrolled in the Tigard-Tualatin School District must contact their school counselor or the resource center for a referral.
Other Items
Additional basic needs items may be available, depending on the donations received by the center. If there is something in particular that your family needs, please do not hesitate to ask.
