Welcome to the Tigard-Tualatin Family Resource Center.
Together, we build on individual and community strengths to assist families in becoming more self-sufficient and to increase successful family relationships to the school district and community.

It provides service by acting as a connection point for families seeking information, referrals, and on-site social services. What’s New
Dental Vans for Parents of Tigard-Tualatin Students:
The resource center and Medical Teams International will be offering dental vans for parents of Tigard-Tualatin students on a monthly basis for the remainder of the school year. Call the resource center at (503) 603-1585 for an appointment.
The dental van will provide exams (not for preventative reasons), X-rays, fillings, extractions, and help with pain/swelling. There will be no cleanings, root canals, crowns, or dentures.
There is a suggested donation of $25, but no one will be turned away if the cost is prohibitive.
Nutrition Classes in Spanish at Colossae Church:
The resource center is coordinating a free nutrition and cooking class in Spanish in collaboration with the OSU Extension Servicce. Click here for the flyer in Spanish.

Healthy Kids:
The Center now has staff members who have been trained to help families fill out applications for health insurance under Oregon’s expanded Healthy Kids Program. Two Healthy Kids Outreach Workers are available to visit homes of families in the Tigard-Tualatin School District (as well as Sherwood) on convenient days and times to assist families with uninsured children in filling out an application for health insurance.
